srmom, I feel you on the car drama. My car was stolen about a month ago. It was found in one piece 3 days later, but there was major damage inside and some damage to the left rear bumper. The took the stereo and iTrip (lucky for me I knew better to leave my iPod in my car) and emptied my trunk. The most valuable thing I had in my car was a HS photo album...but I think I have the negatives here somewhere.

State Farm has been wonderful. We had full coverage less our deductible, but my fabulous cousin (whose shop fixed my car) took care of my deductible. I've had bad experiences with other insurance companies, and thankfully that wasn't the case here.

I finally got my car back a week ago, but had to take it back in twice because the wiper knobs weren't working properly and I discovered the assholes took my spare tire.

I had a hard time driving her the first few days, but I realized that I couldn't let it get to me.

Here's to better car karma for us all.
