I think it was Kobe I saw during the opening ceremonies. Some other athletes from another country came over and asked him for autographs. Afterwards, I just caught part of what he said to them, "How do you say 'thank..." Seems he was asking how to say thank you in their language.
Now, that's the Olympic spirit!
