RM, as you said, she is MY college classmate and you're telling me stuff that EYE already knew about. She and I have already spoken and she never expressed an interest in stocking my books in her store. If she wants to do that, GREAT, WONDERFUL.
Also while I appreciate what anyone, GCer or otherwise does on my behalf to promote my books, your act was not selfless. You're annoying, dude. You have been in the 8 years I have known you on GC and my feelings on that won't change. You probably figured that if you did this, I would forever and ever amen be your friend and in your debt, but no, I pass.
You could have simply told the bookstore about my website and allowed them to contact me, but because I am not falling all over myself with :flowers: and :rockon: and whatever else you were expecting, now I have a stick up my ass? Nope.
I don't live in Columbus. So how the hell am I just going to drop by all willy nilly on the strength of a conversation or two that you had with an owner? And now you are about to go from praises to scorn just because I am not falling over myself to thank you. Dude, been there, done that.
So YOU take the giant stick out of your ass, and you keep it moving. You didn't do this out of some grand act of kindness. You know how I know? Because you would have just done it without telling me and posting about it here on GC.
