Re: Re: Nuff Respect to Nas...but J got him

everyone pull up your pant legs...there's bullisht ALL OVER the floor Yeah, you corrected yourself in comparing Nas to the UNDISPUTED KING of HIP HOP RAKIM...he never has to put out another album...ever...but no one will ever take that from him.
You're right...Jay Z has a flow that you can feel at anytime...that's the epitome of commerical. He has an alright flow...but, since he doesn't talk about killing and his own skills---he resorts to talking about women a whole lot (lesser of the three evils?).
It's really funny that you quoted the song in which Jay Z got torn to pieces by Eminem. I think his flow on that song was weak...but I guess you see the genius in it. Perhaps you had a hard time finding a tight verse from Blueprint--that wasn't coming from Eminem, that is.

NAS does have one of those deep flows that makes you think, similiar to Rakim (if I may be so bold as to say). Jigga, however, has a flow that you can feel no matter where you are at or what you are doing. Besides, anybody that puts a PETEY KLEMENZA (Godfather I) quote at the end of his song gets my ultimate attention.

Feel this:

"Do not step to me... um ackward.. I box lefty.. an orphan.. my pops left me."

Check JIGGA's flow out on MEMPH BLEEK's "Is that yo chick " or whatever the name of the song is.

That's the type of flow that anybody can relate to without having to sell dope or kill somebody. Show me a rapper that doesn't always talk about how much weight he is moving or how many people he will kill. I wanna hear a rapper tell me about what most brothers have in Kommon with him. I understand that sometimes you have to do dirt to survive (we all do), but there is more to life than krime.
