Does it vary from sorority to sorority? I recall reading that some GLO members' posts on here that recs may be written by strictly their alumni, but a girl from XYZ sorority at my school actually told me that a recommendation from an active (of another chapter) would be just fine. Surely she wasn't misinformed of her own sorority's policy?
