So, the moral of the story is......heartbreak happens. What you do with it after that is up to you.

Thanks, NUB&B
Once again, GC has been a place for moms to vent, alums to relive memories and for those of us proud to be greek to see that our future is safe.
Many of the moms here can give stories of the heartbreaks and tears shed, but many, too, can share happy-ending tales of girls who found their true homes, even though it wasn't Mama's home. You know, my DD is my daughter, so I don't have to have her as my sister....that bond is not going anywhere anyway, right?
So, I'm sending out some SEC love to my two sisters who've been with me since we pledged in 1979 and since the second pledged in 1980. I'm so fortunate to have you both in my day-to-day lives and, really, that's all any of us want for those greeks that come behind us to have....true supportive sisterhood. "Be her badge what it may."
Meanwhile, there are a lot of excited sisters getting ready to meet the new class at UGA in a very short time....houses are being decorated, food is being prepared, and fun is planned. If your DD receives bad news, it's not the end of the world, but maybe an opening to something different.
Okay....sorry, I've been preachy, but I've been stuck in appts all day and couldn't keep up! Forgive the sappy, long note....
