Will it look bad if I get letters for more than one sorority and I if anyone knows how the UF chapter handles recommendations that would be nice to know too. Here is a list of the other sororities I have heard good things about, Alpha Delta Pi, Kappa Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Chi O, Zeta Tau Alpha. If anyone has info about any of these other sororities that would be great too. Thanks so much!!

I don't have any information about sororities other than my own, so I can't help you much there. However, I can tell you that it never hurts to have as many good recs as possible. I don't know how it works at other schools, but at the school I attended, PNM's could have recs for all three sororities, and it was not a negative thing at all. YOU are not the one who sends the recs, your friends/family members are. They of course will recommend you to their sororities, but you never know who's got a friend or family member in another group who just might send a rec (who knew Great-Aunt Sadie's best friend's daughter is a Theta alum who's just dying to write recs?).
This may be an unpopular statement, but I would avoid asking for advice on any of the groups. I believe that is the only way to truly enter Rush with an open mind. What you hear may be one or two people's opinions, and they say nothing about the group with which you will truly click.
