Here I am at work and I was skimming over these posts when I came to point 2. Right when I started reading it, I got slightly distracted and I swear I read the following.

I had to go back and re-read this twice before I actually read "notch" and not "crotch".
Frankly, it kind of made sense in that bizarre "did she really just say that" way. Half-crotch=shorts. Full crotch=skirt (denim or khaki).
