Somebody sold me a rap CD out on U Street. That was during the AKA boule -- i haven't even listened to the thing yet. I bought it because he was very respectful, clean, and probably cute (that's the way to my pocket really). Plus, I know what it's like to independently create and distribute your work.
That said.... I usually don't get accosted in the street to buy stuff. People are ALWAYS trying to sell us stuff at my job though. UGH! Don't stop by, you're interrupting me!
