These types of situations are exactly why we tell girls to be careful when going out with/partying with fraternity guys. All it takes is one misunderstanding between a girl and a sorority member to start some drama that could affect recruitment. I've seen it happen too many times.
To answer your question, yes it could very well end up hurting you during recruitment. Sisters talk, so this small group of members could very well have told other members ablut the situation.
My advice would be to be cordial to them if you see them (but don't be totally fake and suck up to them), and don't bring up the situation to anyone else (unless you want more people to get involved).
Also, it's really important to be open-minded about all the sororities. Recruitment hasn't started yet and you may find that your opinions will change once you start meeting girls from each one. If you're rushing at a big school like UF or FSU, there are quite a few sororities and you shouldn't get your mind stuck on being in these 2 (particularly with this drama going on).
