Two thoughts. Neither of which have any research or science or even a great deal of thought behind them.
I agree that gay people can, should and do make excellent parents and should be allowed to adopt and raise children.
I wonder, though, whether it isn't better to grow up in a home with both a man and a woman? They could both be gay. I don't care about that. I simply wonder whether the ballance of socialization isn't helpful. I know that many children aren't being raised by two opposite gender parents due divorce, etc. anyway. But I still wonder. And I'll bet if I could find ten scientific studies that five would say yes and five no.
So, I guess I'll go on wondering.
