I don't think the site has changed much, although we are in a phase where there are quite a few self appointed GC police types about. That's both good and bad. Bad because it's not so much fun, and hard on the newbies. Good because it helps keep people who don't know any better from posting things they ought not post and then falling victim to some of the people who take the site way too seriously.
But, overall, it's still very similar to what it's always been, in my long-time observer opinion.
