What some of us are overlooking here is that, if I understand the story correctly, this president admitted serving alcohol at chapter functions in clear violation of established rules and laws.
At the end of the day, how can the "blame" for whatever consequences the chapter faces belong to anyone but the president and the chapter.
Sometimes it is fair to take issue with the media or a university administration, but in this case the chapter has admitted it's guilt for everyone to see.
The president clearly never heard the old expression, "Be sure your brain is engaged before putting your mouth in gear."
