if you could, please locate where you read the above when you can. While we did "see" gordon "die", we also saw the reason and his "rebirth". we saw two face die as well as the memorial services for him. while the continuation of the character would have been rather nice, seems as if for some reason unknown to us the writers desired to end that thread. i am not aware of a second two-face.
catwoman could make sense and would be rather interesting as part of plot in which batman is the hunted rather than the hunter.
