We've used it for several years now. It's not perfect, but it is a vast improvement over what we used to use. What was that called? "So Rush" or something like that, where everything was still on disk?

Things I'd like to see changed with ICS:

1) It doesn't handle Upperclassmen separately. With an Upperclassmen Quota we treat them seperately with 2 sets of invite numbers, 2 Bid lists, etc. On ICS they are are mixed in with the Freshmen with only a (U) after the last name to diffrerentiate and no way to sort. It's up to us to make sure our invite numbers match up. Why not have a seperate column to sort by? Life would be so much easier!

2) Those invitaion/selection check boxes are really small. It's too easy to click just outside the box and move on. With our large Recruitment it's really annoying going back through to find 1 or 2 missed PNMs when the numbers don't add up. You can also accidently select the wrong person.

Simple solution, 1 person reads the list, 1 clicks and another watches the screen to make sure the correct PNMs are selected. In a pinch we'll go with only a reader/watcher and clicker, but with reading they can miss things. Having that 3rd person has pretty much guaranteed accuracy for us, though of course we still double/triple/quadruple check and it can still happen.

3) Save frequently!!! We've seen the system crash before too. Plus one year we discovered that inviting/clicking wasn't considered "activity". After going through our whole long 1st round invitation list, we tried to save and it came back telling us we were logged out due to inactivity. We had to start over. (FYI - The complaint was made to our Greek Advisor who was supposed to pass it along. Don't know if it was changed because not wanting to have that happen again, we always Save regularly.)

4) Not all the screens/reports are sortable. For example, the Legacy List. Some GLO's consider Aunts, etc as legacies while others don't. We don't. If we could sort by "relationship" all those who list Aunts, cousins, etc. would be grouped together. Instead we have to go line by line. Granted for those campuses without many legacies it's not a big deal, but on a campus like Bama it is.

Positives:

1) Easy to use.

2) Quick access to lots of information: Chapter Return Rates, Party Lists, active PNMs vs drop out rates, PNM Registration forms, etc.

3) Can be accessed from home and have more than 1 person logged on at a time. While normally I'm at the sorority each night until lists are finalized and submitted, there has been a time or two when I couldn't. I've been able to work through problems while on the phone and computer with my officers/advisors. I can also check Return Rates, etc. from home each morning rather than tracking down an officer whose probably scrambling to get everything ready for that day's parties.
