I am a little confused on how to get an alumnae to right a recommendation for me. For example: I went to Chi Omega's website and clicked find a alumnae chapter and then came to this website of a listing of chapters in Florida and then I clicked on Central/Orlando FL Alumnae and it popped up this website http://ww2.chiomega.com/alumnae/content/?chapterID=3275

Next, do I go to contact us and email someone from that list to write me a recommendation or am I doing this entirely wrong? Can someone explain what I have to do? I am a lil confused.

2) If I decide not to rush in fall, around what time does UCF do informal rush?

I am a sophomore right now, but will be a junior in the spring. My GPA is average. I have a 3.5 and was involved in a lot of extracurricular activities during my high school years, but I dont know how much effect that has on the sororities at UCF. I am going to ValenciaCC right now, but I cant say I did anything at Valencia besides trying to get good grades. I wish there was a better way to be more involved in my community college, I hope this wouldnt affect me getting into a sorority. lol

I am open to any advice anyone can give me. Thanx!

Definitly take a look at the thread links OTW has provided for you. I suggest if you are already a sophomore going on junior, that you do formal recruitment in the fall. The older you are, the harder it is to get a bid. Focus on the activities you did in high school and be sure to mention that you are really looking forward to getting involved at UCF.

Good luck!
