You can use some boxes or crates underneath your fabric to add some height to the tables. Just having the boards up and stuff laying on the tables is kinda boring. I've seen lots of chapters that put tables out from the walls and build them up with old cardboard boxes covered in the table fabric and then placing photos, shirts and trinkets on the levels. If you pull them away from the walls they can be viewed from all sides and that prevents a traffic jam in front of a table.

Another good idea is to make a clothesline of sorts on a wall to display activity shirts and photos. You can use the 3M command hooks (the ones with the sticky tab that you attach to the hook), those work well on all types of walls and once you pull the tab off, if leaves virtually no marks on the wall. Using a thin rope, string clothespins on the rope and then make a small loop in the ends of the rope and loop on the hooks. Then hang shirts, pictures, really anything you can hang up there with a clothespin. That makes an interesting backdrop on a wall. The cool thing about this idea is that you can make them as long or as short as you need them to be to fill in a space.

I've also seen chapters that will attach pieces of vinyl lattice to tables with wire around the legs. This adds height to the back of a table. You can push the table with the lattice attached up against the wall and then hang things from the lattice. You can get pieces of lattice pretty cheap at any hardware/lumber store like Lowes.

Hope this helps and I'm sure I will think of some more things.
