i feel for you. when you have a 10 year old dog you're more attached to it than ever. my dog lived to be 15 years old. when he was 9 he had to have 4 surgerys because he got cancer. he even spent a week at UC Davis- the best animal hospital in california. anyway, i was just a child, but i understood that he was a part of the family, and the the money is well worth saving your pet.
