Don't be a dork. SAE was already established by the time APO was founded and I can guarantee you that the SAEs who helped Frank Reed Horton found APO did NOT tell them any of SAE's secrets. I imagine there may be some similarities and I'm convinced I've figured out what the APO letters stand for as well as some symbolism of their coat of arms (I'm not telling, so don't ask), but I do know that one ritual would not expose another.
