I didn't read anything that made me think he was harassed. He's getting the typical response that athiests get and nothing over the top. I may've skimmed over the good stuff, I guess.
He said himself that he was "ashamed" to admit that he's athiest. If
he's ashamed then they're supposed to blow smoke up his ass, for what? He's a newbie athiest, of course he has thin skin.
(Maybe not the "average American," but I know quite a few Americans with the intestinal fortitude to tell people to be quiet in the theater...my father and I tell people to be quiet everytime it applies--only had a minor problem once.
