I loved elephants and collected them long before I knew many regarded it as the UNOFFICIAL "symbol/mascot" of Delta. I wore red all the time, too.
There are quite a few times that I have needed someone for something unrelated to Delta and, while or after assisting me, the person and I discovered we are Sorors and/or that we had met before. This has happened in-person and also when we communicated via phone or email. One time in particular, I
needed to see the familiar smile and get the familiar hug.
