To me, it went off the rails when Don retired. And at one point, the only reason I watched it was to look at Shemar.
I don't think they should make new Soul Trains. Kids now look at TRL/106 and Park to find out what's hot. But I do enjoy the reruns as well (if I can only stay up until 2 am to watch them).
