Even if you are out of IFC you are still students and as students you still have a right to use all campus facilities and attend all campus events.

2.. When is the last time any IFC organization was able to change any rules? Rush, fundraising, alcohol policies, hazing? You dont think the students make these rules do you? At least at my school they dont.
As far as Thon, of course you can still enter but not under your fraternity name. You cannot enter as Alpha Beta...you would have to be under "Joe Bob's Boys" or individually. My point was that if events like this that confer "bragging rights" are a big deal on your campus, to not be able to participate in them as a fraternity would most likely be detrimental.

A lot of nationals' hazing policies are stricter than anything at school level. There are a lot of things that can be changed within IFC and Panhel, but the group has to have the balls to stand up to the advisor and question their decisions. I know from a Panhel point of view, I've heard of individual advisors doing things that are NOT good for the groups and completely contrary to NPC rules. That's when you have to say "hey, I don't think so" as a group and go over their heads.
