I recently went with my parents to Buenos Aires and Montevideo to attend a wedding and to visit. The tickets were about $600 per person, but with all the fees and taxes were about $1,200 per person. That wasn't the end of it this nickle and diming. When we left Buenos Aires to return to the States, we had to pay at the airport US$18 per person (about 54 Argentine Pesos per person and don't get me started on how much in Euros) in airport taxes at the airport     .
How much more are the going to bleed out of us for baggage, food, etc?
