No matter how much you and your brother love black people (), you still acknowledge that you are Filipino and that there is a "Filipino and/or Filipino-American culture." This doesn't require that Filipinos think, say, and do the exact same things to recreate the culture.
When people begin to overstate the obvious, they overlook the similarities and trends in an attempt to highlight what smart people already know.
