I took my first little fall of my sophomore year and my second spring quarter of my sophomore year. I devoted a lot of time to calling them both, taking them for yogurt, meeting them for lunch or just hanging out with them. I wound up living with each of them in my junior year. Then my senior year we pledged a junior who was a legacy and needed a lot of attention. My senior class was REALLY small and I was approached b/c they wanted someone who was still involved in the chapter and had friends in common. I am so happy I agreed to take a third little sis my senior year. Jane, my third little is one of my dearest friends and she made my senior year very special.
I think it is importnat to only take as many littles as you have time and attention for. Big/little relationship building is a key aspect of keeping our members happy and involved.
