NO THE FEES ARE NOT TOO HIGH!!!!!

The fees involved in being a part of a major international fraternity are reflective of the costs involved in maintaining one. There are no free rides here. Even then, the majority of the funding required to run a fraternity such as ours comes from alumni and investments, NOT from undergraduates! As I explained in a different thread on this same topic, according to your numbers, the total annual costs breaks down to a meager $217 per member per year ($21.70 per member per month for a 10-month school year). This is NOT an unreasonable amount. I pay more for my cell phone each month than I pay to the headquarters of my Fraternity. To me, it's worth every damn cent. Then again, to someone who's more interested in joining for the stereotypical social benefits and for the opportunity to whine about EVERYTHING, people like yourself apparently, ANY amount is too high because you're more interested in letting everyone else do the work and not putting in your fair share. Try doing your homework next time, you'll sound a lot more intelligent that way.
