I just gotta say thank goodness they chose who they did for the coffin b/c I would have hunted down the producers & the writers of the show for killing off Sawyer or Desmond. 
I sobbed when the boat exploded. Poor Jin.  Mike thinks he's still alive b/c after all, it is the island and it won't let you die until it deems you ready to die.
On another note, I wonder why Hurley didn't tell Walt that Michael was dead?

I think Hurley is too kind hearted to tell a kid that hasn't seen his dad in years that Michael is
probably dead after being blown up in an explosion.
