So, I graduated from SDSU in 2004. Theta Chi was the fraternity that we hung out with the most during my four years there (my ex-boyfriend was a Theta Chi). I don't remember drugs ever being as prevalent as mentioned in all the articles, but I also personally tried to stay away from it. I have to say though that I am not entirely surprised (not about Theta Chi, but just the drug bust in general). Cocaine was easily accessible and used by fraternity and sorority members. There was one fraternity that I immediately thought of when I first saw the headline and they were indeed one of the fraternities suspended, so I guess not a lot has changed.
I hope the greek system can bounce back from this. I'd hate to see everything shut down.
