First of all, I never knew that people from Lesbos were really called Lesbians. HAAAAAAAAAA

Secondly, it seems to me (and I am no scholar of Greek) that just as the Greek word for Greek is not Greek, then the Greek word for "person from Lesbos" wouldn't be Lesbian.

Or am I trippin?
This made me giggle. I've made a few phone calls and so far I'm being told that Greek people call Greeks from the island of Lesbos lesviani or lesvianos. I'll let everyone know if I find out conflicting opinions. LOL

UPDATE! My mom says that lots of Greeks call people from Lesbos Mytilinia or Mytilianos, after the capital of the island, Mytilini. Who knew?! I'm getting an education this afternoon.
