FWIW, I wear the badge on my company polos (white or purple) when attending GLO conferences to promote my biz. It's primarily to show the attendees (no matter which fraternity/sorority they belong to) that I'm "one of them" (i.e. a GLO member). I've seen others wear their badges w/biz casual wear (polo & khakis) as well. However, I don't wear it on my denim shirt, even though it's worn w/khakis...
