I wouldn't worry about liability from paintball if we are talking about those "camps" that organize paintball events for a fee. A pay to play place.

If you want to run around the woods as a chapter, then there may be slight liability.

But if everyone wears the appropriate protective gear, no need to worry.

However, if everyone gets drunk, rips off the newest brother's paintball mask, and the chapter decides to play "hit the new brother in the eye with a paintball", then yeah, there's some liability.

I wouldn't consider paintball any more of a liability risk than basketball or touch football. It's a sport, and there is an assumed risk of injury that occurs when one participates.

Hell, someone could catch a finger in the eye while jumping up for a rebound or jumping to catch the football.

Just don't do anything stupid, like play without masks on.
