Yeah, this is nothing out off the ordinary. I've done it......seen plenty of others do it. If you like to mountain climb and don't have access to a wall, using a building is the next best option.
I have some friends at OU (Oklahoma) that rappelled down the side of the football stadium. Jumped off the top of the press box.....way way up there. Upwards of 9 or 10 stories I'd guess.
