Also, since Rhode Island College does not have engineering, it is not likely that either ASK or Phi Sigma Rho would look at starting a chapter there. If Rhode Island College has all locals, maybe you could see if the college would to open the campus to NPC sororities.
Other science ideas: Beta Beta Beta and Phi Sigma are 2 honorary organizations for science majors. Sigma Delta Epsilon promotes women in graduate science studies.
