I believe Nebraska still has a "bed rush", which means each chapter is allowed to take as many women as there are available beds in their chapter house (and presumably the new members move right in after bid day). I would think this would make for a very competitive recruitment, since the number of available spots is fixed and not tailored to the number that register. I would get recs. Are you a junior in high school? If so, you could broach the subject with your teachers and other women from church, work, sponsors of your sports teams or other clubs to see if you can find any Greeks. Keep them in mind (and write them down) next year when you are getting recs together.
