I had mine taken out 5 years ago. I pretty much slept for the first 2 days, would wake up, take pain medicine, eat a sandwich and go back to sleep.
I haven't had the food problems described, but on 2 different occassions, I have had the same exact type of pain that I had with the gallbladder attacks. The dr. can't explain it. |

I just ate some dry meat loaf and small boiled potatoes with light butter. So far I just feel like I over-ate, a little bit of a tummy ache. So far so good!
