ghost pledging in my sorority is when bids are given in secret, and you aren't to tell anyone you are pledging our sorority until after you are initiated. So when we have bid dinner, etc, we are not allowed to post pictures of pledges, etc. until they are initiated because unfortunately, not everyone makes it.
we have already lost two pledges who attended bid dinner this semester.
