Here are my suggestions for starting out:
Get Started Eyes is good. Nordstrom still has the
Guilty Pleasures set listed, and it's just wonderful! This one also looks good,
Get Started Eyes/Cheeks/Lips (Light to Medium). Stay far, far away from any of the "Meet The" color kits, with the exception of the
Stones.
Great all-purpose individual colors include: Vanilla Sugar, Chenille, Nude Beach (brings on the sparkles but does buff down), Bare Skin, Heart, and Drama (buffs down beautifully and doubles well as a liner).
