Sisters,
I'm very happy to announce that after 3 years of "trying", many types and doses of infertility drugs, 6 IUI's, and much soul searching and family discussion, my husband and I are finally EXPECTING a baby boy- through international adoption from Korea!
We are still in the paper work process and do not even know which baby will become our son, but technically we are expecting! At the end of April, we will be eligible for a referral, after we complete the 20 hours of training required. Our home study is already completed though, so that is the first step.
We chose Korea rather than domestic adoption for many reasons, chief of which my youngest brother was adopted from Korea as an infant.
We were #9 on the waiting list, last I heard.

Once we do get the referral, it will still be another few months until he gets to come home due to immigration paper work. I'll keep you posted!
