Agreed! Being a teacher myself I totally agree! While nothing so serious has happened to me (I have only been pushed around and called several cuss words), I can honestly say that those teaching in public school have an uphill battle on their hands. When I was in college, one of my supervising teachers had death threats nearly every day. Another friend of mine (who happens to teach those with special needs) has had broken fingers, black eyes, a broken arm, and bites and cuts so deep she had to go to the ER. All this and she went back into her classroom and kept teaching, even when she was offered a transfer.

All this is probably one of the reasons I currently teach in private school!
