Recruitment at FSU is quite competitive. It is not unheard of for Juniors to be successful, but it is somewhat rare. Letters of introduction will be key, without them, quite honestly, you would probably be passed over in favor of a freshman or sophomore. If you have high grades and a solid leadership track record you can do quite well as long as you don't get your heart set on one or two houses. Expect to be cut heavily due to your class standing.

Start making your contacts now for the 15 groups currently represented at FSU and follow through to ensure their letters of introduction are sent in on time and to the correct personnel. Be sure to contact the Greek Life Office to get information about Formal Recruitment - as an upperclassman you won't immediately be mailed this information.

Good luck!
