But I also wasn't invited to Feast of Roses or Initiation and it is pretty awkward when collegiate members ask you why you haven't attended events or plan to attend them and you haven't been invited. It isn't just any old IRD, it is our 50th anniversary and not being invited when you live in town and are on campus in a different capacity is well, pretty lame. I'm not a lost sister nor did I get married and change my name, phone number, or address, or even my job. Seriously, I am not hard to find and even have coffee or a weekend meal with members on occasion.
It is heart warming though when I do meet the new initiates and tell them we're sisters the lovely reception I get.
