You really should attend if at all possible--Convention is amazing, and until you experience it, you can't even begin to imagine what it's like. Honestly, I was completely overwhelmed the first time I attended.
And if you can't make it for the whole time, they do have another registration option where you can pick and choose which events you will attend. Plus, then are just charged for what you are attending, which is great if you aren't interested in some events or can't fit them into your schedule.
