It depends on how distinctive or common the colors are, and if they are head to toe in the color(s).

If a PNM was decked out in "scarlet and straw" (or any shade of red and yellow/gold) from head to toe at a school with a Chi Omega chapter, it might look suspect. But a pink top with a white cami underneath hardly looks like she is trying to impress Phi Mu.
