Phi Beta - Phi chapter
This is a great topic, but it's hard to narrow it down to
one thing I like the most about my chapter! So my anwer is sort of 2 parts...
I'd have to agree that I love the diversity of my chapter. Since we're co-ed, we (obviously) have men & women. We're professional, but the only national professional GLO that unites
all of the arts, so we have people from a variety of majors (even some non-art majors like education & environmental science!). For our campus, we had a pretty ethnically diverse group. And there are so many different personalities that make up our chapter!
But what I really love is that, even with all of our diversity, everyone gets along so well & always has such a good time. We can be hanging out after a chapter meeting, at a recital, a formal, playing football in Greek Week..
anything, and everyone has a blast! It's like gammazetagirl said... those bonds & our friendships last forever. We make the most of any situation. I have so many good friends from my chapter. And even now that I'm an alumna, I can go back & hang out with the members and still feel that bond with them. It's hard to put what you feel in words, but I think that just about everyone understands that connection to their brothers or sisters.
I also have to add that I've met several older alumni in the past year or so, and there's still this kind of connection with them.
It's funny... I joined for the professional oppurtunities, but I stayed for the friendships & brotherhood.
