The Canadian government did admit that it was blown out of proportion, but Obama initially denied the meeting took place until the memo surfaced. In the age of blogs, everything gets scrutinized to a ridiculous degree and blown out of proportion. This was a response to the McCain thread, I didn't post it two weeks ago because I feel that it's irrelevant. This is politics, we shouldn't be shocked that these people lie to get elected. There is such a huge difference in the beliefs of McCain and Obama that I would hope that not too many people are on the fence. McCain is pretty close to the kind of small government conservative that I like to endorse, if he were to get into office and somehow receive line item veto power then I think this country could cut through a lot of bogus spending and red tape.
