I do know from what they have told me, that a number of their sisters have some type of part time job and while living in the house can be expensive, it can be cheaper than a dorm and required meal plan. I definitely know that it can be done.

It isn't like this for every chapter... yes statistically it is probably close, but the OP shouldn't make a decision based on these figures because they might not apply to her campus.
