There are episodes where I look at Bret and say "mmmm...he's still got a little cuteness" and others where I look at him and say "yikes...he aged horribly...botox and poor health did him in."
Flav has children, though, and there are ugly noncelebrity men who get women. It happens for some reason.
Most of the women on ROL and FOL are average if not below average looking. This could explain it also.
