Those who have ever heard a Pittsburgh Steelers broadcast may have heard the rather unique voice of Myron Cope, the voice of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the inventer of the Terrible Towel. Myron passed away this morning, after having several bouts of pneumonia while at a nursing home (psst: the Covenant). You can read more about it at

My dad had met with him several times, and always said Myron was a class act, despite his somewhat zany broadcasts.
