Oh yeah, b/c my reaction was funny to them (including my best friend; hubby is a cpu addict and was in his virtual world while all of the shenanigans were occurring). I'm now starting to get flashbacks of Christmas Day.......

Because you kept showing that you believed they were really going to take your boots. I mean all of that hiding them, wearing them in the house, etc. If you had just taken them off and let them "steal" them without showing you were affected, the fun would have died out for them--they are kids.
